Anamkhaï from Rotterdam Netherlands   At the age of 6, Anamkhai (Alexander Whitener) fails at building his first synthesizer with legos and rice krispies. Excessively pissed about it, he will practice on an old piano to punish himself until he can afford to buy the real thing. After studying old jazz music with jazz fanatics that all dress and talk like Louis Armstrong, he starts composing for several music projects (TV, radio, live stage performance with Alienhearts, and lizards symphonies.)

His music stands exactly right in the middle between classical chamber opera and junky fuckyard trash death electronic metal with a large shooting range. "There are many music genres that I cannot stand, country, french rap, cheap rn'b, jumpstyle… but i'm always up to compose in any new music style including the ones I hate."

Most of his work is made in collaboration with Akanjee since they are brothers, understand each others without long boring explanations and can work on different layers on a project and merge them into a polished piece of work. (bio by Roger Kleen)
